Privacy

Invested Birding is the personal weblog of Wouter van der Ham. This page explains what happens to your data when you visit it. In short: very little.

Who is responsible

Wouter van der Ham, Zeist, the Netherlands. Email info@vanderhamecologie.nl.

No cookies, no forms

This site sets no cookies and has no contact forms, comments or newsletter. I do not ask for your name or email address.

Visitor counts

I count page views with GoatCounter. It uses no cookies and does not store your IP address or anything else that identifies you. I only see totals: which pages are read, how often, and roughly from which country.

Hosting

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web server, GitHub receives your IP address when you load a page and may keep it in its logs for security purposes. See the GitHub privacy statement.

Links to other sites

The links to Instagram, YouTube and Facebook are plain links. Nothing is loaded from those sites unless you click them, and from then on their own privacy rules apply.

Your rights

You can ask what data I hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted, by sending an email to the address above. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
